So what’s all this about, then?
Patterns (not all of them, but some) can take quite a bit of work to create, and even the simple ones take some time and effort. There’s drafting them, trying them out, re-drafting them, trying them out again, and lather rinse repeat until I get it right. I do all this because it’s fun and I want to do it, but if you’ve used those patterns and you feel like my efforts are worth a few dollars, well that would be lovely and encouraging. Even more relevant, it will help fund the acquisition of more crafting supplies which I will use to make more blog posts for you to enjoy – very cyclical. Like that circle of life stuff, except without having anything to do with birth or cute little lion cubs or Elton John.
So I have to pay to use your patterns?
Nope! If you’ve found them useful or enjoyable and want to encourage and support me by throwing a few bucks my way, that’d be great. If not, that’s also fine. I mostly just hope that you’ll use them to craft cool stuff to share with the world.

/ March 12, 2012Hi Mary Ellen,
I’m not sure if I’m understanding your question correctly, but if you’re asking how to follow the blog, I’ve getting the blog revamped a bit in the near future and there will be an RSS button you can use to add it to your feed.
EDIT: Some changes and updates have now been made, and you should see a “Subscribe via RSS” link at the top right of the blog, just above the Etsy store widget. :)
