Crafters’ Gallery

Welcome to the Crafters’ Gallery! One of the best things about this blog is the way it’s introduced me to other craftsy people everywhere, to share ideas, talk endlessly about crafting supplies and generally squeeee over awesome craft ideas and projects. And given that I spend a lot of time posting ideas and instructions, it’s probably no surprise that I get super excited when people show me things they’ve made… using my tutorials! Every person’s version of a craft is unique, with their own little twists and personality, and I love getting to see that.

So, below are pictures that have been sent in by other crafters around the world – images of crafts they have made based on one or more tutorials found on this blog. Enjoy!

Star Trek combadge earrings made by Melis:

A Tardis fez made by @coregeeknet, inspired by his daughter and using my felt fez tutorial for the basic fez construction (see more details on his blog!):

A covered-in-monsters monster hoodie as a baby gift, made by my mom and based off my own monster hoodie project:

—————————–

Two adorable monster pillows, made by Vanessa and based off the Microwaveable wheat bag monster tutorial (just do the whole tutorial on a larger scale, and stuff with pillow inserts instead of pouches of wheat or rice):

—————————–

A modified Assassin’s Creed 3 hood made by Jessica, modeled below by Blake. The hood was made to match his black coat, with a snazzy red lining and featuring the image of their pet rabbit instead of an eagle:

—————————–

A Pokemon Bulbasaur family made by Craig, based on the felt spheres and felt pigs tutorials:

Some fun details: Craig made these for his brand new niece, to inspire her to grow up to be an awesome gamer girl geek! A week prior to making these, Craig had never touched a sewing machine and didn’t even know what needle felting was. Awesome work, Craig!
