Happy Thursday everyone! I have a special treat for you today: a craft tutorial in comic form, from the incredibly talented Featherweight. I first met Featherweight (in a virtual sense) through the Desert Bus for Hope Craft-Along. He is a maker of many things, from paintings and comics to puppets and props, and over the years he has donated some remarkable artwork, props and puppets for our auction block, helping us to raise money for sick kids.
Much of Featherweight’s work is displayed on his website, and some of it is for sale through his Etsy store. (He takes commissions too, so if you have a special project in mind, you should get in touch!) Another thing Featherweight does (told you he’s multitalented) is draw comics. He has a fun little slice-of-life strip called Stolen Jokes Comic, which often features members of the LoadingReadyRun crew and associated friends. This week, he’s created a wonderful comic tutorial on how to make a cozy winter loop scarf – it’s a simple and useful project, and probably the cutest craft tutorial you’ve ever seen! So without further ado, I give you Featherweight, who will present this week’s project:
